Intraoral camera time stampsAuthor: David Zimmer Date: 08.29.26 - 9:38am So I bought an intraoral camera on amazon. Last time i emailed the picts to myself and the file names were the dates - perfect. This time, I had 30 picts tracking an infection...I did a file transfer with drag and drop move..The file names were random. I looked at EXIF...empty... I looked in the deleted photos folder...missing. pooop. I was pretty sure I had just lost all of the date data for my photo sequence which was an important part of the value. The dates must have only existed in the iphone sqllite database or its filesystem properties. Then on a lark I looked at date field in explorer. Some low level dev had actually taken the time to set the file times from the original to the new file on the pc on transfer. Holy moly Im kind of amazed. That would have been an extremely easy thing to not bother with. I really would not have expected anyone to take this extra SetFileTime() step after the transfer. Driver developers do tend to pay more attention to details though! About 10 seconds later chatgpt kicked out a fileTime_2_fileName.frm which worked perfect.
