Mini Skid SteerAuthor: Dave Date: 07.14.26 - 3:58pm So I picked up a mini skid steer which is turning out to be a very useful machine. Maybe this is better called a tracked loader Im not really sure. anyway here is a quick review: Pallet fork modification: The pallet forks were tilted back just enough, we are not fully functional, a touch more might have been nice but not necessary. I have also gone back to abusing them digging under logs and lifting heavy loads and they are holding up perfect so far. Edit: I have maxed the machine out numerous times now moving logs and getting the tips down in the dirt while getting under them. No problems. The tilt back was required and is working perfectly.
