One rub on computers

Heres one rub about computers, their nature is fundamentally of change. Rapid evolution even.

They change so quickly. Its hard to find mastery. By definition mastery requires endless hours of pursuit, experience, and time to understand the nuances of the art. Mastery of Computer technology is hampered by its own rate of evolution and broad range of specialities.

The fight to keep on top of the changes, is a day to day affair. Within mere years complete arts are discarded and replaced. The window of relevance for old skills is short.

Some remain extremely relevant in niche circles and become prized. We all have limited amounts of time and energy. Choose what you master carefully.
