About the Author -David Zimmer is an independent developer, consultant, and researcher based in New York. When not buried in R&D he has been known to pop his head up from time to time to release new white papers, and documentation of the various things he has turned up through out his research. Current Research and topics of interest include: Web Application security, data forensics/restoration, malware and system analysis, software security, and Windows development. David’s business, Venture Digital Mfg, first started life as a small manufacturing company creating a specialty machined product. Eventually CNC programming and CAD design lead David into the realm of computer programming where he discovered his fascination with computer security and software development. Today, David's business has grown to offer a host of custom software applications, including the well known Web Application Auditing program, Sleuth. Future skills he is looking forward to include custom electronics and embedded software development.
